South Tower Now Open!

In 2022, Sunnycrest Village, located at 3900 S. Terry Ave. in Sioux Falls, SD, added 60 apartments to help meet the housing shortage for seniors in the Sioux Falls Metropolitan area. Sunnycrest Village offers seniors just that; the opportunity to live independently, enjoy community and benefit from convenient services! Sunnycrest Village, an affiliate of the Dakotas United Methodist Conference, is a faith-based, not-for-profit corporation who serves seniors in a cost effective and dignified manner. The community at Sunnycrest promotes independence and spiritual growth. Persons of all faiths are welcome. The smoke-free complex consists of 5 buildings, all physically attached for easy indoor access. Each building contains specific one and two-bedroom floor plans with varied apartment features. Sunnycrest Village serves residents of all income levels. Market rate rents range from around $520 to $1150, depending on the size and amenities of the one- or two-bedroom apartment desired. Sunnycrest Village offers 20 HUD subsidized apartment and accepts Sioux Falls Housing Choice Vouchers. All rents include water, sewer, and garbage removal, access to an exercise & clinic room, Chapel, Library, billiard lounge, scheduled transportation, a Daily I’m OK check, scheduled social events and activities, as well as on-site office and maintenance staff during normal working hours, and 24-hour emergency support. An on-site, optional noon meal is offered Monday through Friday. In addition, offered on-site are several fee-for-service health care clinics, such as massage therapy, flu shot, etc. as well as a beauty/barber shop. The South Tower is connected to the complex’s current buildings and features 2 elevators, an attached parking garage, 6 neighborhood lounges, and spectacular views of the Sioux Falls community.
